McLaren Mercedes records its third one-two podium finish of the season so far as Mika Hakkinen takes the chequered flag for a third time in five grands prix.

Hakkinen and Coulthard lock out the front row of the grid, with Hakkinen storming into a 10-second lead in the first 10 laps, while behind them, Ferrari drivers Eddie Irvine and Michael Schumacher battle for third.

However, no one can match the pace of the McLaren Mercedes cars, who cross the finish line having lapped everyone up to fourth place in another dominant display.
